Prolamina Corp. is expanding the company's flexible packaging capacity with a new pouching machine.
Flexible packaging company Prolamina Corp. has a new pouching machine in its manufacturing arsenal.
The machine, a custom-built model BH80 from Totani Corp., is located in Prolamina’s Neenah, Wis., location and is designed to produce the company’s Pro-Pouch brand of stand-up pouches.
“We’ve seen tremendous growth in pouching as more and more CPG companies move away from rigid containers. This million-dollar capital investment reflects the health of the flexible packaging market,” Prolamina CEO Greg Tucker said in a statement.
The new machine produces pouches with various sizes and closures and expands the company’s capacity, the firm said.
Prolamina, based in Westfield, Mass., serves the food, medical and specialty markets. |
